Pope and Young Club Partners with HHAUSA

Chatfield, MN – The Pope and Young Club recently partnered with HHA USA to bring the archery and veteran communities together. HHAUSA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization serving veterans and active-duty members of the United States Armed Forces. Their mission is to show appreciation and create a community for veterans and active military through archery and the outdoors.

“In 2019, I founded HHAUSA. One of the primary objectives of HHAUSA is to raise funds to fly veterans of World War II, Korea, and Vietnam to Washington DC to visit the memorials built in their honor,” said Chris Hamm, President, HHAUSA, Inc. “Thanks to the Honor Flight Network, thousands of veterans have taken this trip of a lifetime, finally receiving the respect, gratitude, and welcome home that they deserve. We are also actively involved in the fight against PTSD and the 22 veterans a day that take their lives. Partnerships with the E3 Ranch Foundation, Wounded Warriors In Action, and the Kniestedt Foundation allows us to assist in getting servicemen and women into the outdoors. The first 22% that HHAUSA raises each year will be designated to this cause, helping to bring peace and healing through these life-changing experiences. Starting in 2020, HHAUSA will be hosting nine archery shoots across Wisconsin to benefit these organizations and begin bringing the archery and veteran communities together. Our long-term goal is to expand this impact beyond state lines as we add additional support and volunteers. At HHAUSA, our commitment is to serve those who have served and sacrificed for us. We owe a great deal to our veterans and active military and are asking you to join us. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those who protect our freedoms.”

“The Pope and Young Club is proud to support and organization like HHAUSA,” said Rick Mowery, Communications/Marketing Manager for the Pope and Young Club. “As a veteran myself, these issues are close to my heart, and I am proud that the Pope and Young Club has offered a lifetime membership to HHAUSA to help raise funds for our veterans and accomplish the HHAUSA mission. Combined with the membership discount P&Y offers for veterans, it is evident that the Club stands by those who have stood for us.”
