PRAIRIEFIRE NEVADA TO HOST ICKEY SHUFFLE & SHOOT EXPERIENCE ON APRIL 13 RAISING FUNDS FOR ASTHMA AWARENESS

PrairieFire Nevada, a stunning destination for outdoor adventure just outside Las Vegas surrounded by mountain peaks, is proud to announce that it will be hosting the Ickey Shuffle & Shoot Experience on April 13. This event is dedicated to raising funds and awareness for the Jovante Woods Foundation for Asthma Awareness. Attendees can expect a day filled with exciting activities in support of a noble cause.

The event will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and will feature a diverse lineup of engaging activities. From 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., participants can engage in adrenaline-pumping Gunslinger Challenges, including navigating the rugged terrain of Gunslinger Canyon, showcasing prowess on the Gunslinger 5-stand, and putting accuracy to the test with the Long-Range Challenge. In this all-inclusive experience, rental equipment, ammunition, safety equipment and coaching assistance are all encompassed within the price.

Some of the special guests expected to be in attendance include:

• Ickey Woods: Running back for the Cincinnati Bengals and UNLV Rebels.
• Rod Woodson: Super Bowl XXXV Champion, Pro Football Hall of Famer and played for the Steelers, Raiders and Ravens.
• Jose Canseco: Rookie of the Year, Most Valuable Player, Six-time All-Star, and two-time World Series champion with the Oakland Athletics and the New York Yankees
• Mellow Man Ace: Cuban American rapper and a founding member of the hip-hop group Cypress Hill
• Todd Gurley: Retired running back in the NFL who played for the Los Angeles Rams and Atlanta Falcons
• Joe Torry: Actor and comedian best known for his role as host of Russell Simmons Def Comedy Jam, and appearances in hit comedies House Party and Strictly Business, as well as television appearances on E.R. and NYPD Blue.

Following the challenges, attendees can unwind and socialize during the Tailgate Mixer and Silent Auction from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Lot J Tacos will provide delicious tacos, complemented by a selection of cocktails. Meanwhile, guests can peruse and bid on an array of items at the silent auction, with all proceeds dedicated to supporting the Jovante Woods Foundation for Asthma Awareness.

Jovante Woods Foundation for Asthma Awareness

Icky and Chandra Woods lost their young, 16-year-old son Jovante due to complications of an Asthma attack. Due to their devastating loss, and what they found to be limited resources, education, and action available to those with asthma and their loved ones. They were determined to make a difference and thus the Jovante Woods Foundation was born.  The Jovante Woods Foundation’s goal is to try and prevent the tragic loss of a loved one due to an Asthma attack or the lack of education during an Asthma attack.
