Rice County Chapter of Pheasants Forever raffling off trip to see Wolves battle Celtics in Boston

Faribault, Minn. – December 28, 2007 – The Rice County Chapter of Pheasants Forever (PF) is raffling off a trip for two (2) to see the hometown Minnesota Timberwolves take on former Wolves great Kevin Garnett and the NBA-best Celtics in Boston on January 25th. All proceeds will go directly toward the chapter’s conservation projects.

This is your chance to see the Wolves during their only appearance in Boston this year. And of course, the matchup holds a special twist with Wolves legend “KG” now leading the Celtics. The trip includes travel with the team on a charted flight, charted ground transportation to the hotel and stadium. The winner also receives two press passes for the game as well as a pre-game meal. The raffle will take place at 6:30 PM on Friday, January 18th at National Pheasant Fest at the Saint Paul River Centre in Saint Paul, Minnesota. You do not need to be present to win. Tickets are $100 apiece and the raffle is being limited to 120 tickets.

All proceeds from the raffle will benefit the Rice County Chapter of Pheasants Forever and will go toward public land acquisition, habitat restoration, youth conservation education and support of the federal Conservation Reserve Program (CRP). “What a great and unique way to benefit
local conservation efforts,” said Dave Benkufsky, Rice County chapter treasurer.

The trip for two (2) on January 24th-25th includes:
• Round-trip flight to Boston with the players and coaches

• You will be met on the tarmac by the team charter bus

• Hotel stay with the team

• Chartered team bus rides

• Press pass – gets you everywhere except the locker room

• Dinner in the press room

• Great seats with tip-off at the Boston Fleet Center at 7:30 PM on January
25th

• You’ll also have free time Friday before the game to explore some of
Boston’s greatest attractions.

• Fly back with the team immediately after the game

Tickets are $100 each and only 120 tickets will be sold. For tickets you can contact Jeremy Eller at (507)332-9689 or Tony Luikens at (507)744-3447
