London gunmaker John Rigby & Co. has announced that Safari Outdoor has been appointed as its exclusive retailer for the Republic of South Africa. The arrangement builds on a strong existing relationship between Safari Outdoor and the Blaser Group – which includes Rigby, Blaser, Mauser and Sauer – and was put together by Blaser Group’s Marc Hillermann and Rigby’s Marc Newton.
Being South Africa’s largest retailer of hunting and safari related goods, Safari Outdoor has been a highly valued Rigby stockist for a number of years and the new deal will see the company become the country’s sole dealer. With support from Rigby headquarters, plus regular visits from key members of the Rigby team, Safari Outdoor will be able to offer Rigby owners and enthusiasts exceptional service across its five stores, which are located in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Stellenbosch, East Rand and West Rand.
