RMEF Hunter & Outdoor Christmas Expo Returns to Vegas

MISSOULA, Mont.— A 10-day celebration highlighting hunting, the outdoors and the Western lifestyle runs December 5-14, 2019,  when the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation hosts its Hunter & Outdoor Christmas Expo, presented by Cinch. The expo is free to the public and takes place daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the National Finals Rodeo (NFR) in the South Halls of the Las Vegas Convention Center, upstairs from Cowboy Christmas.

“RMEF has seen incredible growth and participation in the expo since its debut in 2014,” said Steve Decker, RMEF vice president of Marketing. “We are excited as a conservation organization to bring together so many like-minded partners, businesses and attendees.”

The Hunter & Outdoor Christmas Expo features the best in firearms, optics, outfitters and guides, archery equipment and hunting apparel as well as trailers, pickups, ATVs, furniture, western art and décor, and much more.

One of the highlights on the expo floor is the Wrangler Rodeo Arena which will host the Junior World Finals. More than 900 of the best young cowboys and cowgirls in the world compete in bareback and saddle bronc riding, barrel racing, pole bending, bull riding, team roping and other events. Other interactive booths include the newly redesigned RMEF Great Elk Tour and MTN OPS Archery Experience among others.

Additionally, the RMEF booth (#819) will offer raffles, memberships and the latest in RMEF hats, apparel, hunting gear and other gift ideas.

RMEF will also host the Cowboys for Conservation Calcutta, daily from 11 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. on the Cowboy Christmas exhibition floor at the Rodeo Live Stage. Teams of NFR cowboys will be auctioned off on a daily basis featuring cash payouts to participants and proceeds going to RMEF’s mission.
