Safe LivinG Announces 2025 Authentic Tour Stops at Army & Air Force Exchange Service Locations

ATHENS, Ala. – March 12, 2025 –
Safe LivinG is excited to announce its stops at Army & Air Force Exchange Service locations across the United States. Safe LivinG will visit Fort Cavazos, TX, Fort Benning, GA, Fort Meade, MD, Fort Campbell, KY and Joint Base Randolph, TX. Safe LivinG offers attendees a unique opportunity to engage in various activities centered around personal security and firearm safety.

Since 1895, the Army & Air Force Exchange Service (Exchange) has gone where Soldiers, Airmen, Guardians and their families go to improve the quality of their lives by providing valued goods and services at exclusive military pricing. The Exchange is the 52nd-largest retailer in the United States. 100% of Exchange earnings support military communities.

“I am so excited to announce stops on the 2025 Authentic Tour at Army & Air Force Exchange Service locations across the nation,” said Karen Butler, president of SLG2, Inc. “As a retired Department of the Army Civilian, former Army Family Readiness Officer, spouse of a retired U.S Marine and parent of a current serving US Army Officer, we value our partnership with the Exchange and seek to empower our military and their families with information and resources to ensure increased safety awareness at these trailer experiences.”

Guests at firearm safety events at the Exchange can participate in outdoor demonstrations, including binocular and turkey call activities and the MAGPUL DAKA Grid system. There are also opportunities to review firearms from top manufacturers and learn about the importance of responsible firearm handling and safe storage. Safe LivinG aims to raise awareness about self-defense tools, such as SABRE pepper spray, through interactive demonstrations. The organization encourages families to bring their children along for a dedicated firearm safety discussion tailored specifically for young attendees.

Guests aged 18 and older can handle and shoot handguns and long guns using a state-of-the-art mobile FATS by InVeris range guided by knowledgeable female instructors. The simulator provides immediate recoil, impact and sound feedback, creating an immersive experience that builds confidence.

The Safe LivinG experience will be stationed at each AAFES location on the following 2025 Authentic Tour dates:

Fort Cavazos: April 4-5
Fort Benning: June 13-14
Fort Meade: August 1-2
