Harrisburg, Pennsylvania—Seminars by top hunting and fishing experts is a hallmark of the Eastern Sports & Outdoor Show (Feb. 2-10) presented by Chevrolet and this year’s lineup of seminar speakers is no exception.
Chuck Adams
There is no bigger name in the bowhunting world than Chuck Adams. For each day of The Eastern Sports & Outdoor Show two lucky contest winners will have one-on-one bowhunting clinics with Chuck Adams.

Even if you don’t win the contest you can still learn from the master. All Show attendees are invited to watch, listen and learn from the legend himself at these twice-daily clinics.
Bass Pro Shops Stage
In addition to Chuck Adams, a series of multi-daily new-products and how-to demonstrations will take place on The Bass Pro Shops Stage located in booth #685 in the North Hall.
The stage will be staffed by manufacturer representatives and experts, demonstrating the newest products and offering great advice.
Speakers include:
Bob Foulkrod: Known as one of America’s most respected bowhunting authorities, Bob Foulkrod was inducted into the International Archery Hall of Fame in 1993. Aside from being an accomplished big-game guide, he also runs the country’s top bowhunting school.
Allen Treadwell: At 24, Allen Treadwell is one of the world’s most accomplished competition shooters and waterfowl hunters. A member of the U.S. National Skeet Shooting Team, he has set several records and currently holds a number of shooting titles.
Walter Parrott: One of the greatest turkey callers ever – the only person to win every major turkey calling championship in the U.S. To date, Walter has captured 5 NWTF Grand National Championships, 5 World titles and 14 U.S. Open titles, among others.
Other hunting stage speakers to include: Frank Smith, Charlie Culbertson, Dan Thumma, Rod Bates.
Bass Pro Shops Hawg Tank
Filled with hungry large mouth bass, the Bass Pro Shops Hawg Tank will be the spot to watch as local and national fishing experts demonstrate the latest in fishing tackle as well as the most popular and productive ways to land that lunker the next time you set out on the water. Hawg Tank speakers include:
Jason Quinn: Representing the “new breed” of professional bass fisherman, Jason Quinn brings excitement to every event he fishes. His career highlights include three Bassmaster Classics and eight top-ten major tournament finishes.
Matt Reed: Matt Reed’s fishing method is flipping deep vegetation – sight fishing. His career highlights include seven years fishing Bassmaster Tour and two times fishing in the Bassmaster Classic.
Other Fishing speakers will include: Rod Bates, Darryl Gesford, Ken Freeman, Mark Snyder, Buddy Long.
Albert Wutsch–The Art of Backyard Butchering: Albert Wutsch will share his butchering skills during daily live deer butchering sessions. Sessions will include: fabricating one side of a hanging carcass; breaking down carcasses into sub primal cuts; fabricating cuts into steaks, roasts, stir fry, butterfly and other cuts. Wutsch’s presentations were some of the most popular seminars at last year’s show.
