Grand opening of SITKA’s Dallas store was quintessentially Texas with an appearance by Dallas Cowboys linebacker Leighton Vander Esch, live music by The Swon Brother and barbeque.
SITKA Gear opened its doors to the DFW Metroplex on September 30 with the grand opening of its retail location located at 4438 McKinney Ave #200, Dallas, TX.
The highlight of the grand opening included a meet-and-greet session with Dallas Cowboys linebacker Leighton Vander Esch, live music from The Swon Brothers and Texas barbeque.
SITKA Gear’s Dallas location is now the go-to destination for functional, high-performance, technical outdoor gear for a state that boasts the nation’s most licensed hunters and outdoor enthusiasts. Just in time for fall hunting seasons, store visitors can now experience gear that’s engineered to excel in any outdoor environment.
The new Dallas store marks a significant milestone for SITKA Gear as it is the company’s second retail location and the first outside its hometown of Bozeman, Montana.

Outdoor aficionados gathered to celebrate and interact with SITKA Ambassadors, including Alex Templeton, 24.7 Hunt (Ranar & Ricky), Keith Malloy, and Barton Ramsey and hunting dogs from Southern Oak Kennels. Also SITKA Conservation Partners, Stewards of the Wild, SITKA Affiliated Outfitters, 737 and Stuart Ranch, and representatives from Texas Parks and Wildlife were all on site to engage with fans and outdoor enthusiasts.
