The Kansas Governor’s Ringneck Classic is an annual invitational pheasant hunting event that takes place the third weekend in November. The weekend is filled with hunting, shooting, networking, comradery and lots of food. Auction proceeds and other fund raising activities during the weekend raise money for the Northwest Kansas Conservation Foundation (NWKCF), a foundation created by the Ringneck Classic to improve awareness, enhance public hunting access and champion wildlife and habitat conservation projects. The NWKCF provides grants for qualified projects and initiatives in Northwest Kansas.

Participation in this exclusive event is primarily through sponsorship. For a $6,000 or $8,000 donation, a sponsor may bring a team of four, or six, hunters to participate in the weekend long activities. Additionally, our Classic Club alumni members receive an invitation annually. After arriving and purchasing a Kansas hunting license, all lodging, hunting, ammo, food and entertainment is provided by the Classic.

The 2020 Kansas Governor’s Ringneck Classic is scheduled for November 19th through the 22nd in Colby, Kansas. Please visit the Ringneck Classic website www.kansasringneckclassic.com for additional information.
