The Pinhoti Project Now Part of Benelli Social Ambassador Program

Turkey season is almost upon us, and Benelli celebrates the annual gobblers-and-guns action by adding to its Social Ambassador program Dave Owens and The Pinhoti Project.

Named for a derivative of the Creek language meaning “turkey home,” The Pinhoti Project presents an immersive approach to the art of turkey hunting. Exploits, documented through minimalist videography, take viewers on real-world turkey hunts that illustrate the challenges and frustrations of pursuing crafty gobblers. Those early mornings and “knees-and-elbows” stalks, along with frustrating lows and the thrilling highs, showcase turkey hunting’s most unpredictable and exciting times.

“There are many reasons turkey hunters are so dedicated to their craft. The pursuit of longbeards brings a mix of adrenaline peaks, physical exertion, extreme patience, fast action, shifting strategies, and exhilaration that can occur several times in a single morning,” comments Benelli’s Tim Joseph. “The Pinhoti Project brings all of this to the forefront, and Dave does an excellent job of presenting this most thrilling game to beginner and experienced turkey hunters alike. We are excited to welcome The Pinhoti Project to our Social Ambassador program and look forward to many adventures this coming turkey season.”
