The third book in the Traditional Journey series, “The Traditional Journey Lives On,” is now available from Pope and Young

Chatfield, MN – “The Traditional Journey Lives On,” is the third in a series of books chronicling the foundations and spirit of hunting with the bow and arrow. The 3-book series includes The Traditional Journey, The Traditional Journey Continues, and The Traditional Journey Lives On. All three books are available from the Pope and Young Club. The books are an easy-reading collection of stories, about how hunting with the bow and arrow can and does, positively impact our lives.

“The Traditional Journey Continues” editor, M.R. James, and “The Traditional Journey Lives On” editor, Jim Willems, note, “these books are for every bowhunter. Books designed to inspire and inform readers of bowhunting’s enduring legacy, a celebration of ‘rolling up our sleeves and getting busy’ at bowhunting.”

The journey of a bowhunter isn’t necessarily about recurves, longbows, or compounds. Whether on purpose or by accident, it’s about finding the joy and value in the heritage and traditions that make up this thing we call BOWHUNTING.  It’s about relishing the challenges of the sport. It’s about experiencing the thrill of the chase, up close and personal. It’s about the hours of practice earning the perfect shot. It’s about honing your skills and relying on them. It’s about dreaming and planning for the next hunt. It’s about preserving, intact, bowhunting for future generations to share and value.

The Traditional Journey book series is Informative, inspiring, and timeless. These books are a must for every bowhunter’s library. They can be purchased from the Club for $40 each, or you can purchase the 3-book set for just $75 (plus shipping and handling). All proceeds go to the P&Y Conservation, Education, and Outreach fund.
