Over 650 nominations received for this experience of a lifetime.

BARNEVELD, Wis. – Vortex® asked for your nominations to send a Veteran to the 2024 Armed Forces Bowl, and you came through in a big way! In all, over 650 nominations were submitted – after reading hundreds of incredible submissions, Christopher D. from North Dakota was selected to receive an all-expenses paid trip to the December bowl game.

Go to HEROES.VTXNATION.COM  to learn more about this year’s winner and read just a few of the other amazing nominations submitted from throughout the US. You can also find a list of great veteran organizations, and we invite you to join us and show your support.

“Each nomination is a powerful reminder of the heroes who walk among us—whether they’ve served on the front lines, supported their communities, or stood as pillars of strength for their families,” said Vortex® CEO Joe Hamilton. “Selecting just one winner from these incredible submissions was no easy task, but we’re honored to have read every story.”

As a sponsor of the Armed Forces Bowl, Vortex® is proud to support those who have served their country, while also serving those still on active duty. Having been selected to deliver the Next Generation Squad Weapon-Fire Control to the US Army, Vortex® is working tirelessly for our nation’s heroes.
