Modernized and expanded St. Croix TRIUMPH Series selected by the sportfishing industry as Best New Freshwater Rod at ICAST 2026
PARK FALLS, WIS. (July 23, 2026) – TRIUMPH is the best-selling North American-made freshwater fishing rod series because it delivers true, premium quality and performance at a price anglers can afford, backed by the people who make it.
TRIUMPH’s unique combination of quality, performance, and value was on display at ICAST 2026 last week, where its next generation was voted Best Freshwater Rod in the New Product Showcase.
Improved and modernized for 2027 with LEGEND ELITE-inspired ergonomics and styling, upgraded componentry, new aesthetics, and an improved SCII carbon fiber formulation, the multispecies TRIUMPH Freshwater Series has also been expanded, encompassing 29 one- and two-piece ultra-light through medium-heavy power spinning models and eight (8) one- and two-piece medium and medium-heavy power casting models.
The family retails between $115 and $145 with a five-year warranty.
TRIUMPH Freshwater rods are available for dealer orders and immediate delivery beginning August 1.
Also introduced at ICAST were three-piece TRIUMPH TRAVEL rods ($175-$195 retail with October delivery), TRIUMPH SALMON & STEELHEAD rods ($170-$195 retail with October delivery), and all-new TRIUMPH COMBOS ($175-$180 retail with September delivery) and TRIUMPH TRAVEL COMBOS ($250-$260 retail with October delivery) featuring the sizzling new SEVIIN TORIX 2500 spinning reel.
