Light Up the Dark. Sound the Alarm: NEBO MYPAL™ 500 Combines Personal Illumination With On-Demand Security
Fort Worth, Texas (November 2, 2026) – Darkness can make everyday situations feel less secure, whether walking to a car, navigating an unfamiliar building, or heading out for an evening walk. Having a reliable light readily available can provide greater visibility and confidence, while an audible alarm can help draw attention in an unexpected situation. NEBO addresses both needs with the new MYPAL™ 500 Personal Security Light, a compact, easy-to-carry tool designed to provide illumination and an immediate alert at the press of a button.
Designed with women in mind, the MYPAL 500 combines multiple lighting modes with a powerful 500-lumen TURBO mode, a 130dB personal safety alarm, and a distress strobe in a compact design that fits easily on a keychain, purse, or bag.
The MYPAL 500 provides multiple illumination options for navigating a variety of low-light situations. The three primary light modes include a 250-lumen High setting, providing up to 1 hour of runtime with a 50-meter beam distance; a 100-lumen Medium setting, providing up to 2 hours of runtime with a 30-meter beam distance; and a 30-lumen Low setting, providing up to 5 hours of runtime with a 22-meter beam distance.
When maximum brightness is needed, the 500-lumen TURBO mode produces a beam distance of up to 70 meters for up to 10 seconds.
For situations requiring an immediate alert, the MYPAL 500 produces a 130dB alarm to call for help and alert others to an emergency situation. Two independently positioned buttons provide intuitive control of the light and alarm functions, allowing each feature to be activated separately.
Rechargeable and designed for everyday carry, the MYPAL 500 features an integrated carabiner clip for convenient attachment or easy pocket carry. Constructed from durable anodized aircraft-grade aluminum, it’s available in gray or rose gold. The MYPAL 500 is designed to remain readily accessible without adding bulk to a purse, pocket, keychain, or everyday carry setup.
Whether walking to a vehicle after dark, navigating low-light conditions, or taking the dog for an evening walk, the NEBO MYPAL 500 Personal Security Light provides a compact combination of illumination and on-demand personal security.
