NRA Releases 2025 Program Impact Showcasing National Growth in Education, Safety, and Shooting Sports

Fairfax, VA — The National Rifle Association of America (NRA) has released its 2025 Program Impact report, highlighting a year of significant accomplishments across training, youth outreach, conservation, competitive shooting, and community partnerships. The report reflects the organization’s continued commitment to strengthening communities and advancing safe, responsible firearm ownership nationwide.

In 2025, NRA training programs reached Americans at every experience level. More than 102,000 students completed firearm training, supported by 13,000 certified instructors and Range Safety Officers. Youth safety remained a priority, with the Eddie Eagle GunSafe® Program reaching 240,000 children through 1,100 partners in 25 states. Scholarships, youth leadership programs, and recognition for Eagle Scouts further reinforced the NRA’s investment in developing future leaders.

Participation in shooting sports expanded through new and inclusive opportunities. The launch of America’s Rifle Challenge introduced a new generation to competitive shooting, while adaptive shooting initiatives and range accessibility grants helped ensure broader participation regardless of ability. National championships across multiple disciplines continued to draw strong engagement.

Efforts in hunting, conservation, and community support also saw measurable impact. Nearly 49,000 students completed NRA Online Hunter Education, now accepted in 16 states. The Hunters for the Hungry program provided 8.1 million meals to families in need, and youth conservation initiatives promoted ethical hunting and outdoor stewardship.

The NRA also continued to support its network of affiliated organizations and professionals. In 2025, the organization worked with 5,000 affiliated clubs, 2,500 businesses, and law enforcement professionals through grants, training, and safety programs. Major events, including the NRA Annual Meeting and the Great American Outdoor Show, drew hundreds of thousands of attendees, reflecting strong national engagement.

These achievements represent a portion of the NRA’s nationwide impact. The full report is available HERE, with additional information about programs and involvement opportunities at https://explore.nra.org/.
