Ol’ Man Outdoors Introduces Elevated Command Posts for Deer Season: The BaseCamp and Fortress Deluxe Quad Pods
Pearl, MS (October 5, 2026) – With deer season on the horizon, hunters know that a standard tripod or ladder stand often isn’t enough to hold a commanding position over feeders, food plots, and travel corridors. The answer is the robust Quad Pod series from Ol’ Man Outdoors, featuring the BaseCamp 7′ Quad Pod (OT-702) and the Fortress Deluxe 12′ Quad Pod (OT-703). These four-legged giants are engineered to give hunters an unmatched combination of stability, comfort, and a commanding field of view for the long sits that put deer on the ground.
Ol’ Man BaseCamp 7′ Quad Pod (OT-702)
The BaseCamp is the ultimate hub for hunters gearing up for a season of scouting, patterning, and hunting from a solid, roomy blind. Its 7-foot platform height provides a real tactical advantage over deer while keeping a footprint that’s easier to place across food plots, fence lines, and thick terrain than taller models. The 5’x5′ platform creates a generous square shooting house, offering ample space for gear, movement, and a comfortable hunt from dawn sits through evening stands.
