Blanton will oversee fleet maintenance at the company’s first operating hub outside Fort Wayne
Fort Wayne, IN — (Aug. 13, 2026) The Polar King International rental division announces that Brandon Blanton has been named hub manager for the company’s Sumterville, Florida, facility.
In his new role, Blanton will oversee fleet maintenance operations at the hub, helping ensure Polar King’s rental units are properly maintained and ready to meet customers’ temporary and long-term cold storage needs throughout the region.
“It’s great to have Brandon on board and assisting in Sumterville,” says Polar King Vice President of Operations Joe O’Keefe. “His previous management and transportation experience will be invaluable as we continue expanding operations at our Florida facility.”
Blanton brings hands-on experience in fleet operations, transportation and shop management to the position. Before joining Polar King, he served as shop manager at Lake Jem Farms and worked as a truck driver for JT Carriers.
“I’m excited to join Polar King and to help make an instant impact at the company’s new facility,” Blanton said. “I know we have high expectations in Sumterville, and I can’t wait for us to help more and more customers across our region.”
Polar King’s Sumterville location opened in 2024 and is the company’s first operating facility outside of company headquarters in Fort Wayne, Ind. The location expanded Polar King’s operational presence in the Southeast and supports more efficient delivery and service for rental customers across Florida and neighboring states.
