Burris Optics Takes Night Hunting to a New Level with Three Game-Changing Thermal Sights

GREELEY, Colo. (January 14, 2021) – Burris Optics introduces three all-new thermal sights for nighttime hunting. Predators and hogs can’t hide from the Burris Optics Handheld (BTH), Clip-On (BTC) or Riflescope (BTS) Thermal Sights. Each thermal unit is available in 35mm and 50mm options! They offer a variety of color palettes, brightness controls, hot tracking, picture-in-picture and the ability to sync to mobile devices to record the action.

The Burris Thermal Handheld unit can hot track targets out past 750 yards. Perfect for pre-dawn scouting or locating blood trails and animals downed at last light, the Handheld unit features a 4X zoom to track heat signatures of animals in the dead of the night. Realtime Wi-Fi-to-mobile connection allows others to view, control and record from a mobile phone using the Burris Thermal App.

The versatile hybrid Burris Thermal Clip-On Sight unit serves as a handheld device for added mobility or can be fitted to a mounted riflescope using a simple adaptor to go from standard to thermal in just seconds. The unit features 1X, 2X and 4X zoom and four color palettes to choose from along with stadiametric ranging, picture-in-picture, hot tracking, and brightness and contrast controls. An included cable allows to connect to an external battery if the battery gets low but the hunting is hot.

The feature-rich Burris Thermal Rifle Sight offers unmatched performance and value as a dedicated night hunting optics with a choice of 10 reticles and five color palettes to fine tune to each individual hunter’s preferences. With a 4X zoom, this dedicated rifle thermal optic will not let any animal cross the sight picture unnoticed.

Each of the Burris Thermal Sights are available two sizes offering various field of view and zoom range options. User can operate all devices with one hand without leaving the field of view. The intuitive menu displays in the optics sight picture for quick access to all the different features and allows for zeroing the thermal reticle to match the point of impact for a given distance. The battery icon gives current battery charge status so hunters know how exactly much time they have left.

  1. This is a monocular that has the accessory option for a clip on. But Burris does not have any available “clip on” adapters, Burris Customer support will continue to say we should be getting them made and in stock in a few months and they don’t know the price for the clip on adapters yet. Burris website will delete any reviews that are negative about them not having a clip on. Don’t be like me and buy one thinking you will be able to use it and go hunting. It ruined a hunt when I got it in and no way to mount to scope.
